One of our Icelandic sheep gave birth to the first lamb of the year today! A healthy little girl lamb. It was up and nursing in no time at all. This ewe had two extremely tiny lambs last year, so I'm happy that she went with one normal sized one instead this year. Well . . . I guess lambwatch is on. They'll be a lot more where that came from.
