The Icelandics really look so small compared to the new sheep.

Owen, Owen's mom, Linda, and I were at the farm at 5:30 Sunday morning, ready to welcome our new sheep to Awesome Farm. The delivery went more smoothly than we could have ever expected. The 70 new sheep were eating and the delivery trucks were gone by 6:30 am.
The seller's parting words were, "You're in the sheep business now" And indeed we are. This is a whole different scale.

We will keep the new sheep separated from our existing flock for the first month. Come April they should all be together, beginning to graze the first spring grasses, and getting ready to lamb. May is going to bring so many lambs!
